Agape Media is a Dayton based collection of storytellers who specialize in narrative films, small business to corporate level productions, aerial imaging, music videos, social media and wedding filmmaking. We were lucky enough to have company founder, Jason Elam here to shoot our very first styled shoot and spring open house here at The Brightside to shoot a promotional video to show off our Ballroom in an industrial, romantic wedding look.
Here's what Jason had to say when we asked him what makes him stand out from other wedding videographers-
Our goal is not to just create another wedding video, it is to capture your love story in a cinematic film. Every moment of your special day is priceless. From the getting ready shots, to that moment you first see your soon-to-be spouse, your first kiss as husband and wife, your speeches and all the way through the dancing at your reception... we document those moments in a way that allows you to relive each moment for the rest of your lives.
There are two things that make me most excited about filming weddings. First is the connection with the couple. Your love story cannot be recreated by someone who does not know it... which is one of the reasons why I love taking the time to get to know the couples we serve by grabbing coffee and taking special time to learn about their journey, their vision for their big day and all the important details we will capture to recreate it. These connections often lead to great friendships with our couples, making their wedding day a blast for everyone!
My second excitement is that we have the honor to create priceless memories that will be treasured by our couples for many generations. The flowers will eventually die, the food will be eaten, the decorations will be taken down... but their wedding film will continue to recreate their wedding day and relive all the special moments for the rest of their lives.
We absolutely LOVED the work Jason did for our collaboration, and we hope many of our couples choose to book him for their special day! We are so lucky to get to work with incredible vendors like Jason, everyday. He had some great things to say about us as well, that we just had to share.
As a local business, we love our community and rallying together to make things happen. The Brightside is a gorgeous venue ran by phenomenal, genuine and caring people. We believe in what they are doing, so we were honored when we were asked to participate in the Industrial Romance shoot along side of many other INCREDIBLE Dayton vendors. Looking back on the evening, it was a beautiful representation of Dayton coming together to create an evening far more impactful for our couples than we could ever create on our own....it's about community and collaboration. The Brightside is a hub for us to have the ability to make that happen.
As a side note, I am a musician and music lover. The Brightside is a phenomenal music venue that has a huge heart and passion for celebrating local art, so if you love live music like me, this is the perfect place to have a live band throw a rockin party for your reception!
