Today we want to share with you how transforming our DIY venue into a stunning wedding ceremony and reception site can look. Our venue hosts events of all types from music shows to graduation parties, galas to meetings, but being able to create stunning weddings of 300 guests + makes The Brightside something special right here in the heart of downtown Dayton.
Being one of Dayton, Ohio’s newest venues, we wanted to collaborate with our dream team of local wedding industry vendors to show off their talents in our industrial space. Sophisticated style with metal accents, bold florals in gorgeous tones of maroons and neutrals were the perfect match for our venue’s high beams and exposed brick.
Newest to our renovation list is the completion of our Vodvil Ballroom catering galley. We do not have an in house caterer, and allow you to bring in the caterer of your choice for your event. (It was important to us to have a welcoming, workable area for those serving your food a space.) To take it one step further, we chose to make it a chalkboard, customizable for each occasion thanks to chalkboard artists like Brooke of xxandrialettering.
To us, the details are important to telling your story. The colors and elements you chose can be chosen to reflect throughout your entire vision- from the customizable design we created for our couples with Laura Reilly Calligraphy, to the floral preservation piece by our sister company, Bloombeads by freezeframe, we want your event to be something your guests remember forever.
