Shelby and Tim got married here at The Brightside in July, and we're so happy to be a part of their love story! They've been together 5 years, after meeting at the Trolley Stop, one of our favorite local Dayton watering holes. This #sommerlovin wedding was absolutely stunning, and full of all the best details from some of our favorite Dayton wedding professionals.
The Engagement Story
The couple went on a trip to Colorado last summer and Shelby kind of had an idea something might be happening. The days keep going by and she was starting to think she was wrong, that he wasn't proposing, until 4-5 days into the trip when they were getting ready to go out to dinner in Boulder. While the couple was waiting on their ride to dinner, he said "Maybe we should celebrate tonight..."as Shelby turned to ask him what he was talking abou,t he was down on one knee struggling with the words. She just said "Yes!" and here we are!
About the Couple

When Shelby & Tim booked, we asked her to tell us a bit about them as a couple - "We both have a good sense of humor and we’re always messing with each other. We laugh every day together and that’s one of my favorite things. We also love traveling together..in the 5 years we’ve been together we’ve been to 4 countries and multiple states. On top of traveling we both love music and going to concerts. We saw a concert at Red Rock the night after he proposed."
